What is Omnitune?

Omnitune builds software tools for audio professionals. Founded in October 2021 by Matthieu Soulier and Vincent Rose, we started with a collaboration and project management platform for sound engineers and voice actors, two crafts that share the same daily grind of file deliveries, client feedback and validation cycles. We were then approached to build custom software for media companies working with audio.

How was Omnitune created?

Omnitune was founded after we met on a development mission at JCDecaux. We quickly got along, sharing a real passion for music. Working together, we realized how well we complemented each other. A few months later, we decided to start Omnitune to put our technical expertise to work for audio professionals.

What are you working on today?

Today we're building Cadence, a suite of automation tools for DAWs: Auto Edit, Illustrated Books to EPUB, Auto Bounce, Marker Import and n8n Workflows. Each tool removes a specific repetitive task from Pro Tools and other software, so sound engineers can focus on what matters. In parallel, we built Next Chord, a free tool for guitarists and pianists that instantly identifies a chord and suggests compatible ones to build or enrich a harmonic progression.
